Everything About Your Spray Tan
No, that is the whole point. Your shade is mixed on the spot for your skin tone and undertones, then blended in a seamless gradient for a natural, non-orange result. The guide explains in detail how the shade is chosen.
Zero UV rays, and the colour develops on the surface, without heat. As with any cosmetic, a reaction is still possible: if your skin is very sensitive or you have a particular condition, tell me before the appointment and I adjust the formula. If you are pregnant, a quick word with your doctor is always a good idea.
Your glow usually lasts 7 to 10 days. I have seen it hold up to 14 days on the people close to me and on myself, with the right aftercare. It fades gradually, depending on your skin and how many baths and showers you take.
Wait 1 to 5 hours, depending on how deep you want your glow. The longer you leave it on, the richer the shade. I tell you exactly when before your first rinse.
Exfoliate 24 to 72 hours before, shave or wax 24 hours before, and skip oily creams, lotions and deodorant on the day. The smoother your skin, the more even your glow.
Loose, dark clothing and open sandals, until the first rinse. The fresh solution can mark a light fabric, but it washes out. Once you have rinsed, your colour is set.
